This masterclass has been designed specifically for lash technicians that already hold Classic and Russian qualifications, but want to step up their lash game and learn the ‘LA Beauty Lab’ way to bring new lashing techniques and styles to the table. In a fast growing industry it is important to stand out from the rest and we can help you get there! In this course you will learn how to recreate our entire lash menu and have the opportunity to focus on whatever lash maps you want to practice the most  – SASSY, DOLLY, PIXIE, BARBIE, BOUJEE, XTRA & GLAM. You will also receive lash maps for our Classic Style Hybrid and Wispy Hybrid if you want to brush up your hybrid skills.

 

Training begins at 10am and finishes around 2pm unless different times have been agreed. The whole day will be practical work so if you want any advice on theory please let us know prior. There will only ever be 2 students per class so this is a really personal session meaning you will have plenty of time with the tutor to ask as many questions as you need.

 

Please note: You must be 16 to enrol on this course and already been trained in Classic and Russian application. We would advise you take this masterclass no sooner than 6 months after training in Volume application; make sure you really have that Russian technique down before enrolling. The best way of practicing all of the lash maps for this particular course is to just do one eye on the mannequin head for each one to utilise the time best however if you have a burning desire to really focus on one particular lash map on real eyes you are welcome to invite a model in when the time is right (they will be unable to sit in for the whole course so if doing this, please choose someone local to be your model). We suggest you chose a friend, sibling or someone you feel comfortable working on if going down the live model route. This also means you can assess your model’s lashes prior to the course to make sure they are suitable for the style you want to do. Your model can also come in for a patch test prior to treatment should they wish, if not they will be required to sign a waiver on the day to say they are happy to go ahead without one.

Should you wish to make any changes to your kit, please let us know in advance. If you have trained in our other courses you will already have a Nano Mister, Fan, Jade Stone, Lash Mirror and Tweezers (and you shouldn't need these items again as they last a long time) so you may want to consider substituting these items for other products that add up to the same amount instead e.g. more lash trays. Just let us know what you would like to take out of the kit and what you want it to be replaced with; if the products add up to more, you can pay the difference. Please note if you are taking certain items out of the kit because you already own them, you would be expected to bring them from home to practice on the day.
